Commission Associate – Home Department
As a Commission Associate in our Home Department, you are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving profitable sales growth. This is achieved by leveraging in-depth product knowledge, a passion for service, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
- Engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner, assess their needs, and guide them in making informed decisions about products or services.
- Communicate key product features to generate interest and build clientele.
- Present care/protection plans and recommend complementary products to enhance customer experience.
General Operations
- Support inventory activities, including Merchandise Transfer Out (MTO), Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, and Defective Merchandise Transfer Out.
- Perform pricing and signage updates for specialty business areas.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new styles, and product developments through publications, communications, and ongoing technical training.
Performance Standards
- Consistently meet performance expectations in areas such as shrink and safety initiatives, the company’s iCAP program, product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
